This bowl is made from the Silver Maple tree. The colors in this piece are natural, and come from  water damage in the tree that causes a fungus that makes the dark lines.  Each piece is handmade from local reclaimed wood. Made by me in my woodshop in louisville, Kentucky.  The dimensions for the Maple bowl is 9'' in diameter, and 2  1\2'' deep.
