This bowl is made from the Kentucky State Tree, Tulip Poplar . The colors in this piece come from the contrast between the heartwood and sapwood, and the beautiful dark line spalting. Made by me in my woodshop in Louisville, Kentucky.  The dimensions for the Tulip Poplar bowl is 7 1\4'' in diameter, and 3  3\4'' deep.
