This bowl is made from the Kentucky State tree, Tulip poplar . The two tones of the heart wood and sapwood are a gorgreous addition along with the beautiful dark lines of spalting.  Each piece is handmade from local reclaimed wood. Made by me in my woodshop, in Louisville, Kentucky.  The dimensions for this Tulip Poplar bowl is 7 3\4'' in diameter, and 2  1\2'' deep.
