This bowl is made from the Silver Maple tree. The colors come from the Ambrosia Maple Beetle, and became spalted due to water damage from past storms. Each piece is handmade from local reclaimed wood. Made by me in my woodshop in louisville, Kentucky.  The dimensions for the Maple bowl is 11 5\8'' in diameter, and 2  1\2'' deep.
